Neverest is a uniquely challenging, uniquely accessible test of endurance. Register as a team or do it solo � your mission is to run or hike laps of a hill until your total vertical ascent is over 8,848m, the height of Mt Everest above sea-level. You may participate as a solo starting on the Friday at 6 pm and finishing on Saturday or as part of a team covering the distance together or in relay, starting on the Saturday morning. Sat 4 May CONVICT 100 (NSW)
The Convict 100 is an ‘institution’ in Australia mountain biking! As one of the first marathon events established in Australia, it consistently inspires all entrants to push their personal boundaries. The 2019 event will be the 15th installment of the “Century of Dirt” and with 100km, 68km & 44km courses available there is a distance to suit riders of all skill & fitness levels. Hosted from the sleepy township of St. Albans only 2 hours North of Sydney, the course follows the historic Convict Trail through the heart of the Hawkesbury Valley, taking in some of the best scenery the area has to offer. The mix of fast fire trail, technical rock gardens, rocky descents and spectacular ridgeline views is unmatched by any other MTB event. It is rugged, remote and one epic adventure on a bike! The race starts and finishes in the historic township of St. Albans where a community (and the third oldest pub in Australia) welcomes all competitors with open arms. Riders can choose between the full “Century of Dirt” 100km, the “Convict Half” 68km or a 44km introductory ride for beginners and juniors. Run and power walk up Mt Ainslie at 12.45pm on the first Tuesday of each month. Free. Start at Remembrance Park, Treloar Crescent, Campbell (behind the Australian War Memorial). Finish at the tower on the summit of Mt Ainslie. Make you own way back down the mountain. Altitude at the start 595m. Wed-Thu 15-16 May GLOW WORM TUNNEL TRAIL MARATHON 2019 (NSW)
The Glow Worm Tunnel Trail Marathon Weekend from Saturday, 15 June to Sunday, 16 June 2019 features a half marathon, the 6km Ted English Bolt, 900m Mystery Mountain Dash on the Saturday and a half & full marathon on the Sunday. The full marathon is a superb running experience and one of the toughest trail marathons in Australia.
