Sun 2 Jul SRI CHINMOY CANBERRA TRAIL SERIES 2: "TUGGERANONG TROT" (ACT)
The Sri Chinmoy Canberrra Trail Series heads to Tuggeranong for a varied exploration of the Murrumbidgee Corridor. Barely minutes from the Town Centre, you'll think you were miles from anywhere as you wend your way northward through bushland, and return along the riverside walking track. The 8km course loops around at Tuggeranong Creek, while the 20km goes as far as Kambah Pool before heading south. Parking is at Pine Island North picnic area, at the end of Pine Island Rd, Tuggeranong. On-the-day registration opens at 9am and closes at 9.45am, with races starting at 10am. Park at the end of the Cotter Bend picnic area, off Cotter Rd. Long Course McFarlanes Hill offers a challenging event for all runners and some rewarding views of Huon Hill and the Riverina area into the distance. Runners summit both the peaks of Klings and Hunchback Hill as they make their way along some well defined trails and fast downhill sections. Thu 20 Jul KIAMA COASTAL CLASSIC - RUN THE COAST | 14KM, 10KM, 2.5KM (NSW)
Each section of this incredible run will keep runners, joggers and walkers mesmerised, taking in the coastal vista and South Coast icons including the Kiama Blowhole, Werri and Kiama Beaches, with rolling green hills on one side and rugged coastline on the other.
