Ragnar Trail, is a one-of-a-kind overnight relay race for teams of eight friends (or four ultra-running friends). Teammates alternate running three uniquely beautiful trail loops until each person has completed the three trails which total approximately 24 kilometers. When you're not soaking up Mother Nature on the trails, you'll be camping overnight at Ragnar Village where you can expect food, s'mores, bonfires, entertainment and a nonstop festival atmosphere. The goal of Ragnar is to conquer something hard while playing even harder. The GC50 Run Festival on Sunday, 9 December 2018 has 50km, 30km, 15km and 5km races and a 2x25km relay in Broadbeach, Queensland. The 50km is from Kurrawa to Coolangatta and back; the 30km from Kurrawa to Currumbin and back; the 15km from Kurrawa to Burleigh and back; and the 5 km along Hedges Avenue to Seaside Avenue and return. The run course is on either footpath or roadway, not on the beach. This is one of a handful of officially accredited AIMS-IAAF certified 50 km road races in Australia. The Convict 100 is an ‘institution’ in Australia mountain biking! As one of the first marathon events established in Australia, it consistently inspires all entrants to push their personal boundaries. The Coastal Classic is a 30km trail run along one of the most stunning tracks in Australia, it has everything to offer from rocky terrain, sand running and beaches, to cliff-tops, bushland, rainforest and steep hill inclines. The scenery is spectacular with breathtaking coastal views on the beach and from the cliff tops. You literally feel like you are a million miles from anywhere. Set amid one of Australia’s oldest and wildest coastal terrains, in fact it is the world’s second oldest national park (after Yellowstone in the U.S), the Coastal Classic is a trail run along the Coast Track from Otford to Bundeena.
