A family orientated, fun filled running weekend. Events include a kids fun run, 5 Km and 10 Km on the Saturday and half marathon, marathon, marathon relay and mountain bike marathon on the Sunday. The course consists of 95% off road with single track, fire trails and bike tracks around the surrounds of the city on a section of the Wiradjuri Walking Track. All finishers receive a medal. Sun 27 Aug PUB2PUB CHARITY FUN RUN & FESTIVAL
On Sunday August 27 this year, the iconic Pub2Pub Charity Fun Run and Festival celebrates its 25th year of raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy local charities on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Money raised is donated to organisations including Bear Cottage, the Children's Cancer Institute, Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals, Life Education Australia and White Ribbon Australia. Organised by the Rotary Club of Brookvale, the event now has three course options, catering for everyone from serious runners to families - 13km from Dee Why Surf Lifesaving Club to Newport Surf Lifesaving Club; 6km from Warriewood to Newport; and 3km from Mona Vale to Newport. The St.George Bank Beachside Dash is BACK for a big 10 year celebration on Sunday 10 September. The Dash offers something for everyone with 10km, 5km and 2km events. You can double or triple up and knock over up to 17km before lunch. The Dash course follows the beautiful beachside path from Dolls Point to Kyeemagh, near Brighton-Le-Sands, Sydney. The course will follow the newly formed track from 2015 to allow runners of the 10km and 5km to remain on formed, fast foot path for the entire race, making it ideal for setting that personal best time. Sydney Adventist Hospital, fondly known as "The San", is a not for profit Hospital, which has been serving the health needs of the community for over 110 years. The San is the largest private and largest not-for-profit hospital in New South Wales. Each year our dedicated staff care for over 56,000 inpatients, 18,000 emergency patients and 135,000 outpatients. The San Foundation is the principal fundraising body for our hospital and generates much needed funds for essential programs, equipment and buildings by holding such events at the annual San RunforLife. ​San RunforLife competitors participate in either a 10km, 5km run or a 5km walk and the event commences at 7am on Sunday, October 15, 2017 on the Hospitals front lawn. The Bare Creek Trail Run is a great community event for runners and families alike. A 6km family run/walk and a 10km run for more experienced runners. It is a great way to experience the stunning Garigal National Park in St Ives. New is the St Ives Village 2km Dash for young ones to experience a short section of the Cascades trail and return. This can be a walk or run. This events is ideal for families with children of infants age or under. Whilst there are no prizes in the 2km Dash it provides a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to the excitement and fun of participating in such an event. A 100 mile endurance run like no other in the southern hemisphere. Starting in the ski township of Mt Buller, just 2.5hrs drive from Melbourne International Airport and with a downhill start � the Great Southern Endurance Run takes on the rugged and picturesque mountains and trails throughout the Victorian Alps. Runners climb over 9400m and descent 10,600m in their quest to get to the finish line in the picturesque township of Bright, Victoria.
