Start at "Pizzaro" in Katoomba.

The Bushrangers and Master Navigators.

At The Last Tap in Katoomba. Guess who is fiddling around with his stuff...

Our good friend the moon watching over the 3 Peakers energetically striding down the beginning of Narrowneck Road.

The shadows getting longer on Narrowneck, with Mt Solitary and Kings Tableland in the background.

Flimpyhead and the "Blue Labyrinth" course basked in the glorious light of the setting sun.

Muesli time at the Kanangra Creek camp (150 m).

On Mt Cloudmaker (1161 m) after ascending Strongleg Ridge. Soon afterwards it was "Goodbye, tracks!" and "Welcome, scrub!"

Cooling down at Thunder Bend on Kanangra Creek (300 m) after the descent from Mt Stormbreaker.

On Mt Paralyser (1155 m), before making the first entry in the new log book.

Refilling on Whalania Creek (300 m) with its beautiful waterfall and rock platforms.

In the middle of the "shitis guouogangii" scrub (David Noble) on Mt Guouogang (1260 m) after having climbed Nooroo Buttress.

Back at base camp on Kanangra Creek (150 m), still clasping our trusty sticks.

Smiling again after a good night's sleep.

Taro's ladder - more fun with a decent pack on your back.

Almost 51 hours later, 44 of which were spent walking, we are back at "Pizarro".

Want some advice? Don't wear runners when bushbashing. Your feet will love you for it.
