Climb Mount Nebo, near Brisbane (and optional return) on Wed 27th December 2006.
5 am start at corner of payne rd and dillon rd, the same as the last 2 years.
It's a trail run but on forestry roads that are (generally) not accessed by vehicles. Very easy underfoot for the most part. Last year there were a few of us that bailed out at half way to cars parked at Jolly's lookout. The run from The Gap to Jolly's was about 22 km or so. The other crowd went a different direction at the top of the hill and went to the township of Mt Nebo, returning after having something to eat at the cafe there. The full round trip was probably close to 50 km.
