Jan Herrman BWBB report 2006

For me: a glorious day, wonderful scenery, good company, and generally a very "slow-and-kind-of-steady" affair, finishing in 7:45 hrs. Got comprehensively lost coming into Erina (had to resort to some mild trespassing and some serious barbed-wire gate scaling) and then again - very stupidly - around the Erina trig station where I ignored the instructions and plowed on for a good 2 or so kms before realising that the sun was on my left instead of on my right... Things also got a bit "interesting" around Rumbalara Reserve, but it was all good fun.

I am so glad I showed up, I hadn't run in this area before, and it is just such a great course with a little bit of everything. Thanks to Phil for resurrecting this run and to all who came along! I am already looking forward to next time...
