Brief notes

This is the second 100km run scheduled by three mates - Ben, Marlon and Ian. All are runners, none are ultra runners. This is an urban / trail ultra. This course is designed to be a beginners Fatass 100K. There is still no fees, no aid, no wimps, but there are plenty of service stations, shops, cafes, trains and buses so that if you fall foul of injury you are not left to your bush survival skills.

Date/Time of next run

Aid Summary

There is no real need for any support as there is plenty of food/water opportunities along the route. This course is designed to be a beginners Fatass run with a plethora of options for aid, refreshment and opting out along the way.

However - it can get hot in Sydney at this time of year, or very cold. So you need to be ready to handle both.

Also, even though we are close to homes the whole way, taps and easy exits ( particulary the first 40km ) may be hard to find. You need to bring enough water, and work with another runner to make sure you look after each other.

In the latter stages, depending on the time, you will be on isolated cycle paths, where a torch is recommended, and normal safety precautions prevail when out at night in Sydney - carry a mobile phone, let people know where you are, run with someone in isolated sections.

Please be safe and handle your own safety appropriately.

Route Marking Summary

There will be no track markings specifically put up for this run. If you don't know where you are going, please bring a map and directions with you.
