I really enjoyed the course, especially the ferry break and the stretch between the road and the ruin. What a wonderful hidden treasure at a beautiful bush site! I would have been nice to have been able to continue towards my "stomping ground" around Bobbin Head as I had planned (maybe too optimistically...), but some nasty cramps after the climb back from Berowra Waters buggered me up enough to stop after 30K. In any event, the idea of laying out the course in a way which gives people the option of going for varying distances is excellent. Thanks again, also to Sean; I hope to see you again at one of the coming FAT ASSes. Jan, St Ives, NSW A big thank you to Kevin and Sean for putting on such a good event. Great course (even though I didn't complete it) with a relaxed low key approach by "officials" and competitors. Thanks also due to Dawn for all the support she gives Kevin whilst he is off on his wanderings in mind and body. Mike, Balmain, NSW Thanks a lot for organizing this run. It was fantastic and I'm really sorry for myself that I didn't do the 56k option. Anyway - next time I'll calculate more time for the track beforehand so that I don't have to stop because of too less time. Thanks for the quick update and especially the great photos on the WEB. Thomas, Sydney, NSW Peter & myself had a great time and did not have a bad word for the course (although my quads did). I will definately letting friends know of the FA runs. You should be proud of your work. Michael, Woodbine, NSW ![]() ![]() |
