Front Runner Sports have started training sessions South of the River as of July 1st, 2009

TUESDAY     5.30 PM         Strength Endurance and Tempo at Coode Street, South Perth
THURSDAY   6.00AM          Speed Intervals at Deep Water Point, Mt Pleasant

Considering that 95% + of races in Perth start at 7am or 7.30am one of the best specific adaptations a local runner or triathlete can make is to learn to adapt by incorporating some quality training early in the morning. You can then practice a pre competition routine (wkae up times, meals etc) in training and ensure your preparation is actually more specific for your racing needs.

Good point! It's actually near where I work, but I wouldn't be able to get there in time.

Just wanted to say that I've been running with this group for the last 6 months and they are really good.  Drastically improved my times at all distances and they are a friendly bunch :vava:

I did my first session with these guys tonight, and it was tough, great bunch of people and very passionate about running. I learnt alot and hope to slot this in my weekly training. This is run by professionals and the advice given is great.

Good to hear you liked it. I do the Monday and some Thursday sessions and really get alot out of them.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of motivation...........
