Just got back from 5km this morning - the first run or any exercise in 3 weeks and so far I am feeling OK. Time wasn't too shabby considering (for me) - 34:31. Ran all the way and added in half of Brent St hill which didn't do too much damage either. It remains to be seen if I now cough for the rest of the day, but so far so good. I do feel a bit 'wheezy' and deep breaths are not easy, but certainly not any worse than I have been just sitting around the last 2 weeks.
So, I might have a crack at the 10km Sri Chin on Sunday after all. If it's really cold, I won't, as I know the cold air will be the end of me. I waited until 9.30 to go this morning after the early chill had gone...and very luckily only had a bit of rain. And then watched it come down heavily about 2 min after I was back inside
