Helpful comments from people when they ask me what I've done and how, like "thats why you shouldn't run" and "running is so bad for you" are not making me very cheery either!
I'm not working the rest of the week now, so will keep my feet up as much as possible and am heading to the GP on Friday for BP check, but also think I'll look into a scan of the left foot - just to be sure it's not fractured (and if it is...not sure what I'll do).
I'm feeling less confident about what distance I will run in September - I thought I got into this set of training fairly carefully after being sick, but obviously had an inflated idea of what I was capable of or else I wouldn't be sitting here like this (with bruised pride and sore feet)
OK....to look on the bright side: work has finished for the week, and I might finally get to watch my tragic 80's movies that I haven't had time to so far (oops...did I write that?).
Happy running to those who are out there
