Hi All,
It is interesting being up here while the Gold Coast Doctor has been detained with connections to the UK terrorist events. My brother is a Doctor on the coast , though not that hospital.
I can see whay Peter Beattie has been in the job for almost a decade. He is very impressive in the way he handled himself and the media during the press conference. I really liked the way he is not a show pony, sought advice in during the press conference and then revealed the Doctor had done his internship in India - a clever way of revealing the nationality. Looks like they are tracking down cells by mobile numbers of the people picked up in UK.
Mind you he does look very worried. There is something happening.....
This is the Howard Government's Tampa and 9/11 - they will be back after the election
