Having had difficulty planning an event that both I and my support crew agree upon, it is great to see the 'Sea to Summit' coming suddenly into my orbit. The wife didn't really get much say in it. I'm desperate for an event.
Fortunately I've done several 30+k runs over the last couple of months. I just have to work harder on the hills. I hope this run is not like Yurebilla. Those hills are just meant for looking at. I ran from home this morning, so it was a flat warm up, but then made my way to the Valley Lakes trail. 3 laps included 4runs to the tower.
Not fast but I still consider it running. I was pretty pleased with the effort and it boosts my confidence pre the event. Still scared but I'll get there.
