Woodford Dam

Posted by walshy2 , 31 October 2010 · 242 views

Did the Woodford Dam run today (18.37km by my garmin), part of the Running Wild NSW Series

was quite nervous as taking on these sort of hills with the hammy still not 100% was risky

took it very easy and got through with only minimal discomfort

now I have cooled down a bit can still feel a slight twinge where hamstring inserts to glute. I guess tomorrow will tell the tale

was great to be out amongst it again. This was the longest run I have done in the last three months, so lacking a bit of fitness, but just good to get through it

Good to see you on the recovery path

Yep. Good to hear you are recovering. Looking forward to having my sights set on the three of four wave 1 starters.....

Frustrated I was unable to make it to the mountains yesterday. Walking a bit of a tightrope on recovery still.

Plantar I am learning to live with, but Tenosynovitis still creating a bit of havoc in foot, so off to have an ultrasound today.

Priority No. 1, get back to being completely injury free!

I hope to be out for the Glenbrook run end of month. At least for one of the shorter runs.
