AV Bundoora tomorrow, nice run last night, 24 km Wed OK too

Since last Sunday (when I did a good 60 km bike ride with TRAMPS, from Longford to Seaspray and back) I had Monday off.  Then Tuesday 8.32 km in 1:07, and on Wednesday I did the 24 km block in the Mullungdung in 3:08:49 which is so spookily close to the other 2 times I have done this run on the 25th and 30th of June in 3:08 and 3:09.

Last night I did the Harriers run which was a sort of hybrid Wirilda/Tour de West; and thus it was a shambles from the organisers point of view as runners went hell west and crooked, doing at least 3 different versions of the actual course.  Naturally the version I ran was the right one!  Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it , even though it was 6 km, not 5 km.  Not a championship event so no real problem.  I noticed the regular course marker (Bruised) looking smug, it wouldn't happen on one of his courses!

A bit of a warning to me if I do get my Fat Ass run up, the course marking must be super clear.

Thus I did 6.2 km in 32:48, pace=5.17; speed= about 11.4,  OK but not perhaps as good as I hoped (would like to be 31 mins).  Then I did an extra lap plus back to the Clubrooms for our Committee meeting.  So 3.3 km in 21 mins.

Luckily I did a 3 hr session with the computer expert at the local Community House on Thursday morning and learned enough about excel to do the whole year's financial reports for the meeting, thus making me a "good" Treasurer for the day.  The lady computer teacher is brilliant, we are going to do a bit more excel, then tackle Publisher and she will even teach me how to use my phone!!!

Looking forward to AV tomorrow, 8 km cross country, let me at it!  Sharing a lift with Flirty Bob....

Partner won't be there as sadly BOTH his parents had medical emergencies thru the week and are both in the Western General Hospital, Dad with new hip after breaking his old one, and Mum had a stress-brought-on heart attack.  So he will be visiting them and his sisters.

The Harriers newsletter had the provisional results of the Winter Championship, after 7 rounds (out of 10 in total I think) and as I suspected I am well on top of the Womens table.  Just need to keep the foot to the floor and I may win.
