Into an easy week

After making sure I did the right things on Sunday evening after my long run (full stretch session, compression tights, roller on the quads and calves) I pulled a little stiff on Monday morning, but certainly not sore

I got out later on Monday afternoon and rolled through basically the same session as a week ago (April 30), 'kinda' 11.2k tempo session that, after going through the first 3.4k or so, was basically down to 3 hour marathon pace improving by a few seconds a kilometre through each block, with about 1.2k cool down.  Felt pretty good, pace was firm but not overly testing.

Tuesday (last day of leave), I got down to UQ, did the usual 3.4k or so warm up, got through 4 x 400 at 3:28, 3:28, 3:11 (a little silly there) and 3:17 pace.  Got a bit ragged on the last, the third was a little fast (felt okay though) and I probably got out a little hard on the last rep.  A little longer on the cool down and session done.  Beautiful day to be out, sun had some kick though.
