Pretty ordinary week in the way of running. Had a sharp pain in my left groin that stopped me from running. Each time i stretched out got a shooting pain right through it. Strange because on the Monday after Sutho2Surf i was fine, not even sore but Tuesday my groin was damn sore and pretty tight all over. I know the second day after exercise is supposed to be the killer but would have thought a groin injury would have shown itself the day of or after the Sutho!
Anyways, here was the week :
Mon - rest
Tue - rest
Wed - 5aside Soccer (we were short so sucked it up and played)
Thu - rest
Fri - 2.97km @ 6m47s in 20mins - tested out the groin to see if it could handle it - nooooo
Sat - rest
Sun - rest
Its all good now (Thurs 2/8) so have resumed normal training, so annoying these niggley little injuries! Seem to get a roll on then bam, have to have a week off....thats life i guess!
