Lunch Time Run In The Sun

Have just come back from my short run.......in the sun today! Thought I had better get out in some sun and 'try out' my running singlet for Vanuatu as I usually run in shirts and don't let my pale arms see the light! 
Wow - once I got use to the feeling of running in nothing (only 'feeling'........I was completely and utterly dressed!), it was great. I seemed to go much faster, although I think that's the excitement kicking in and that I am getting a little bit fitter each week now. Did 4km in 24:26 which was my fastest yet! Went out fast down the hill and kept it up for a while, but then came a cropper on the up hill.....and slowed right down.
Had a look today to see what things I still need to get before I go away - running stuff all taken care of now, most other stuff too...just need to get some shoes for day walks etc that will take my orthotics, be comfy and not too hot, and a couple of other small things. Oh, and choose the camera that we want to upgrade to duty free! (I found a great looking, cheap, underwater digital camera at Tandy the other day which I think I'll go and get too).
Off to practice some Shostakovich now (sadly, not the Gadfly Suite this time...my favourite).
