Twisted - I couldn't agree more!
After swearing Canberra would be my last marathon, I am already toying with the idea of "Backing Up" and doing the Great Ocean Road Marathon in a few weeks - however, I feel this could end very badly.....

Nice One Stella! You have got those times in you for certain!
Isn't it funny how a simple 3km jog now feels like a 3hour slog fest..... very sad!

The CR girls (Plod, Carmen, Fred) have elevated him to Uber Legend - comparing him to you Brick.....though the title doesn't quite sit so comfortable with him.
I'll continue his school holiday diet of Hungry Jacks, chips and kebabs. Seemed to do the trick at Canberra

thanks for you words of encouragement - I will aim for Canberra 2010 marathon!
I am sorry you have come down with flu, take care of yourself, lots of rest, and whilst I don't know if oranges really help, they make you feel better! and Aloe Vera tissues - from a hayfever sufferer, they make a difference!

Depends on how much you want it. I think a PB is not far away.
My next goal, after months of doing not more than the odd 5km, is to get my self in shape for the 3:30 pacing duties at M7 Cities Marathon.
