Well, I ran my first track race today (5000m) and really enjoyed it.
I had hoped I would have been running sub 17 at this stage for 5k's and/or 5000m but a little bit off at the moment with a time of 17:26 for todays 5000m race. Perhaps could push to race 17:20 but a bit more work needed in training to get sub 17.
Anyway, won't be long before sub 17 and then pushing on for a sub 16!
Preparing for 10k race tomorrow but will wait and see how I feel in the morning - might do a long run instead.
