Fairly new to Brisbane and was wondering if anyone knows of a 400m athletics track open to the public around the Manly-Wynnum area.
I've been running with Qld Masters on a Saturday, but need to find a local track for speed sessions.;
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bandak
Welcome to the Wynnum area. The only track available to the public to the best of my knowledge is Wynnum Memorial Park located on Buderim St next to Wynnum High. It is not the best track as the grass is usually thick. Now that it is cricket season (turf pitch) there might be a good chance that the field is looked after more regularly.
Also to help as you are new to the area, along the Esplanade there are markers every 500m. The markers are a little hard to see as they are concreted in next to the path. They start at Wynnum Creek (near the breakwater drink tap) and finish at the end of the bike path at Lota - 10km return.
Best of luck and feel free to contact me in regards to other places to run in the area.
