Thanks for the updates. I'm looking forward to a phonecall from Flyingemu so that we know how he went. The girls are bursting into random cheers shouting "Go Dad!" and are excited to know that there are lots of people cheering on all the runners.

Your training, performance and attitude are to be admired and a lot to be learnt from by others.
Tim...mate, don't worry...you are still the real deal, a class runner and your performance at SMC showed that. It will come, this is the marathon and stuff happen. You will no doubt have a stellar career.
Anthony , another SMC performer...finally the breakthrough to sub 2:30, you've kept coming back for more...congrats
Swaggers...hell, don't you age mate...do you realise that age adjusted that 2:44 is way better than your all time PB of 2:26...real high class stuff.
So many others no doubt to come through still...will be busy tiling bathroom , but hope to pop in here from time to time.
cheers

Uncle Dave, he is reaping the rewards he deserves.

I wonder if Swaggers and Tim 2 introduced themselves before the race. Swaggers has bragging rights this time.
Look forward to hearing other CR's results.

A shame the Multisport website hasn't updated finishing times for the last 45mins or so and seems stuck on the 2:47 finishers.

You sure Action ran? I don't see his name there....unless he moved to hamilton island and is about 15yrs younger
Well don Doggie, right on plan as you indicated on Friday...just sneak in under 3 and hold some back for the next 8km.
Well done all, Rachinaus etc etc

I just spoke to the Dog quickly who was in the presentation. He said he stopped at the 42k. Can only beat one Flake PB per race, had to hold one back for next year.

Back in the hotel after running a 3:17:15 race. Was aiming for 3:19 so I'm wrapped.
Well done to the cheers squads on the course, without you it would have been a much longer day!!
Keep Pushhin'

16.5 C and 53% at 10:30am, looks like perfect running conditions. Any chance we could book those for the Gold Coast ??
