7s and 13s!
Looks like lady luck is playing with me.
I have 12FT on the 13th at 7am.
And in the Nov GNW100s I have race #13 and it will be my 7th attempt at the full monty.
I guess as long as the 7s and 13s balance out, it's all good right?

...and no I ain't superstitious, just a geek when it comes to numbers. ;)

12ft on the 13th at 7am.....................12,13,7
GNW on the 12th and 13th and 7th attempt....................12,13,7
Whoa, it must be your year.

So, it looks like there are a number of us running 12Foot this year. I haven't seen anyone, other than Martin's 8Foot plan, suggesting they'll be doing anything less, when usually there are a handful or more doing just the 6ft leg. Are there any lurkers planning this?

I'll be doing something similar to what I did last year. From the 7am start at the tree I'll drive out to Deviation, then run out to pluvi then back with someone to the caves, and back to the car.

If people want to get a lift around to Deviation in the morning, or a lift back to the tree in the arvo then PM me to let me know. I can also do a drink and food drop for people if they want.

My hat is in the ring and I know of a couple of others intending who haven't posted. Obviously flying under the radar.

Looking forward to it and catching up with everyone.

Yeah Bunny, it's been a while!

B1orB2, a drop at Deviation sounds great. I'll see you Sat morning at the Tree.

If it's OK I'd like to take up the offer of dropping some supplies off at the Deviation.

Thanks

Do it DJB.
I always like it to have somebody like yourself* to chase.
Will you be using your Inov-8 X Talon 190 if you do run?

Josh, I think most people who take the early start do so because they are slower. Not sure how many you'll have with you at 5:30am with a 12hr finish target.

Josh you should see if you can change your wave or is it too late.

There are a few of us starting at 7am and a couple of them are fast girls who could do 12-13 hours.

Just a smidge under 14 hours would be nice for me.

He should be able to do the course without getting lost.

He hasn't pulled out he has changed his training for Oxfam I think.

He was fast enough to finish in front of you and me at NF100.

Ponkey I think the jailing is optional. I heard there is an iced tea group in attendance. Admit you love the hurt locker.

This 12 foot is turning into a repeat of six foot for me.
I think I am in the wrong wave.
Hope to be finished by midnight. Sunday.

Yeah, yeah, blah, blah.....you know you've just warmed up when you get to Caves House, then the power kicks in!

For everyone left still planning on turning up, latest BOM forecast for Katoomba is min 3C, max 12C. Couldn't find a forecast for Black Range unfortunately.

Yep the just warmed up bit is when I get to Caves House, sit by the fire and eat some of their dodgy chips :)

3 degrees ?. Guess after running the Canberra Bush captital a few weeks ago in -7 degrees that should feel like a heatwave to me :)

Starting out at 6am in the hope I'll still have some sunshine on the way back. Good luck everyone and see you somewhere along the way :)

I don't know Koala1.
You keep saying come and run up here so we turn up in spades to run in your backyard and suddenly you go off to "work" when I thought you had given that stuff up.

Shogun, I think your record has just been blitzed. Ewan came past me about 3k after the river crossing at about 2.30 and leaping up the hill. my guess is the new record is sub 10
