Buzzer - suggest you join us and then make that assumption, I don't believe any run with Sub50 (a definite BB favourite) will be that soft.
After your little jaunt you've got coming up - you'll need some leg speed, so we'll see you up there soon.

As mentioned was thinking of running from my place in Frenchs Forest out to Oxford falls, along fire trails to Deep Creek (on Narrabeen lake). From there a bit of a unknown but head back into the bush. Have been told there are trails that link up out there and come back out towards Oxford falls/ Forest Way.
It is about 10km to Deep Creek from my place so guessing 20km+ for the day. No water out there so suggest a camel or equivalent.
There are some hills, but nothing too serious on the bit of the trail I know.
PM me for a starting address. Start at 6:15am, should be back by 9am at latest.

Tiger - never run at Oxford falls even though very close to my place. Looking at around 2 hours or so.

We won't be setting the world on fire, last week we ran for 27km at 6min/km. Don't expect we will be too much faster than that.......there might also be a trail back up into Terry Hills, not sure.
More the merrier so don't be shy come along if you are free.
Starters at the moment:
Tropic
Hamburglar
Sub50
Slug holding off for next weeks adventure....something about a hangover

Please see map of proposed run. Duck Hole, West head Rd, Centre Track, McCarrs Creek Rd, Perimeter to Track for a rep (or 2) of Smith's creek (rise of apx 160m). 21k. Two laps of Smith's creek would be 26k or thereabouts. See link for details.

So instead of running the usual way over Roseville Bridge I went via the Equaliser track and out to St Ives. While there I found lots of secret six foot training going on.....my knowledge of cool runners faces is not great....but there must have been some beer betters in there. All looking keen and fit.
Anyone want to own up?

Sorry boys deja vu again, I'm out. I've been led a stray by work colleagues and mates. I blame my youth and the fact I don't have a wife to keep me locked up. This time of year is dangerous, and hopefully I can earn some level of respect soon.
Have a good run!

Next time you're up here we can start from my place - refreshments on tap although not sure about the egg and bacon sarnies for Tropic, and maybe have to ban Hamburglar from using the loo!
