Being my second week back at proper training after the post C2K rest was not sure what I would manage today.
Went out with the idea of taking it a little bit easier to start with and picking it up the last few kms.
And managed to do exactly that so very happy with how I paced and ran in general.
Have to say it was perfect conditions nice and cool with a little rain, love this kind of weather for longer runs.
Next month at SMC is the 25km so will try to get a sub 4:14 average pace.
Hope we get similar conditions.
Might try to sit on 21:15 for each 5km from the start during the 25km that would be a nice 25km PB for me 1:46:15 and a if I manage it.
My 25km PB is 1:48:41 from Woodford To Glenbrook 2010.
This might be a bit ambitious but we can only try and set hard goals.
