Although I have heaps of editing to do before I have all of mine uploaded, I will post one that most will find entertaining.

I spotted a man dressed in a wedding dress who was running the half marathon. I am sure this one will get a few hits!

I have plenty more to upload including footage of Big Kev, Digger, Frankie etc. Will put it up this week I hope. If anyone else has anything to share then post it under this thread.

Haha, that's great Grechy!!

About 11km in my Mum who was meeting me at a point in the race to offer supplies/support sent me a message asking me how far in I was. Obviously typing an sms back would be a little hard, so I moved to the outside edge of the track where it was safe and decided to send a video reply. Not sure if it's worth sharing as it's only 8 seconds long, but for the purpose of keeping this thread going in between Grechy's videos, I put it on my YouTube account.

Unrelated to the marathon, While I was looking up MM 2011 videos last night, and this came up in recommended videos. Gave me a good laugh as they sum up most of the conversations I have with non-runners. It's a little repetitive, but then again so are conversations about running with non-runners!!

That is hilarious but so true.  However it was very unrunnerlike of the man to say he will never win a marathon.  With a hoped-for time of 3:30 there may be a marathon out there just waiting for him to win.  The slowest winning marathon time:  an interesting statistic.

Yeah ... I spotted myself in Part 2 at the 9:20 point.  Just before you said "these guys are running 4:20 - 4:30 pace".  I finished in 4:15 which kind of makes your pace prediction 'spot on'.

Thanks for the video.  I had a ball that day; great memories.

Great work Grechy!

I can see myself in a white cap, singlet and black shorts, in the second video at 7:31-7:44, on the very farest of rights of the track (left for you)

Thanks Bredan, I am thinking of taking the video camera to the City to Sea as these videos seem to get a great response.

Thanks Grechy.

Good filming and commentary. I have just realized how bad my running style is, my arms are all over the shop. I really need to work on that. Its good to relive the memories a month on. I feel now my legs are starting to feel a bit fresher and am now focusing on the next goal. Marysville Half then Two Bays 28km. The previous two years I didn't start thinking about running until Jan ,feb.  :good:

Good idea Grechy, City2Sea would be great, the field would hopefully be heaps larger than MM as well.

I'll have to wear my CR cap to stand out!

Thanks Grechy!

Brilliant!

I come through around 7:50. Being a pacer it was easy to find myself.

Great to see all the people and recognise quite a few as well.

Thanks for doing it.

Nice one I can see myself run past at 3.18 in part one of the half video.  Blue shirt in front of a group of three people.  Great footage, its good seeing the leading guys come past.

2011 Melbourne Half Marathon - Part 1
Interesting the lead pack were one of the few that ran the outside of the corner instead of taking the shortest route. Were they just following the car? Would have thought elites would run the racing line.

Well done Grechy, spotted myself at 12.45 in Marathon part 1.  God I have a shocking running style :)  Interestingly, I can remember passing you and actually thought I was out on my own, but I am actually in a fairly substantial group.
