all the info is concisely in one place and it can be edited after the event so you can see how everyone went.

Also..me. Big Geoffa and a few others are coming across from the sleepy West...is there a plan to meet afterwards and swap stories over a cold one or two (milkshake of course..?)......being new to the Melbourne Marathon I wasn't sure if the Cool Running team have anything organised....?

The Transport Bar on Federation Square has been the venue of choice in the past.

Also locationally its good because you can see runners going by and can step out to encourage when you need to.
for newcomers. People start drifting down there after the race, often after chatting around the G for a while, some spectating CRs are there earlier

Clearly just an excuse to remind everyone of your 2:53 last year.

c'mon Rohan, you could have done it instead of just suggesting / complaining about it
Here's the deal (to ensure no duplicated effort) - unless someone has already started I will start said wiki page this evening. Will wait an hour or so for response from anyone who has already started it, or anyone who really wants to do it for the experience...

oops, alisonjc I hope my "edit conflict" in trying to create the same page just now did not cause any problems. Amazingly, we chose the same wiki page name!

No problem alisonjc, I just added some links up top - probably overkill, but just for consistency with last year's.
edit: just so everyone knows - after you navigate to the wiki page, you need to logon with your CR username and password then select Edit in order to add/change anything....

I have edited the Marathon list to put those in order who have listed goal times.
Can people please put their name in finish time order so people find it easier to locate folks who might be running in their vicinity.

Evening Digger,
Me and Big Geoffa were only talking about you today...we're coming over to Melbourne for the marathon and have managed to persuade Athletics WA to let us represent the state in the state marathon championships..so we get to start with the Elites at the front and spend time in the MCG toilets
Let us know your plans..... you have my email ( kevin.matthews@gujv.com)
keep running (with legends) bk

2;55 is faster than most of the other times listed.
to put it in order you cut and paste your listing furhter up the list...
it is not automatic.
