Anyone interested in this small town event?
I am going over that way and just spoke to the organisers. They have just started to advertise but numbers are down on previous years at the moment.
Both the marathon and Half marathon are well supported events with the local running community going out of their way to make the experience a memorable one.
This year the run is on 21st August - so it clashes with Noosa Half in QLD and no doubt other runs interstate.
I have entry forms if anyone is interested.
Cheap to enter and with only about 20 marathons (and about 30 half marathoners) you could be in the running for a trophy finish!

BTDTTOL(but may go back one day),
This is a great event, friday night drinks, great course, more drink stops and officals than competitors, T-shirts are OK, best Finisher Medals in Australia, (Possibly the world!), great lunch after the race with the presentations.
I've lost the webpage address etc, can you help me, as everybody needs this info, coz this race should be done by everyone at least once!
