The Shop at Drysdale Station(1/4 and 3/4 way for the 64km runners and 1/2 way will be open on the day.
There will be a chocolate frog for each finisher or cinamon donut(by prior arrangement with the RD)
At the start, I will get everyone to fill out their details underneath the Fat Ass waiver. When you finish - make sure I have recorded your time.
Remember it's a Fat Ass event and completely self supporting - but I dont want to leave anyone on the course. Heey you dont even have to do the 32km, go as far as you can up the track and then come back!
And once again - A Big Thanks to Lee Troop who will be at the start and will run the first 32km of the 64km option.
Any questions during the week - please call on 0407830263 or email me at ultraoz@iprimus.com.au

A question regarding the start location, Geelong Showground. Is there a particular spot you'll begin (a carpark I presume) and on which side (east/west/northeast?) or perhaps which road is best to park the car (breakwater? st. albans?).
thanks

I'd have to check the map/melways tonight. It's the car park outside the entrance to the showgrounds which is also right next to the end of the BRT.
I'll get back with an update!

I'm planning on running about an hour out and an hour back at around 5min/km pace to fit into my Gold Coast taper.
Anyone interested in joining me is most welcome.

If not, then I'll come out for a drive with my kids to say "hello" and cheer you guys and gals off!!!
Hope to see you all there ... fingers crossed!

Showers - 6 to 13 degrees!
Joy! - hopefully the rain misses Geelong and it's a couple of degrees warmer!

I would have loved to have run the 32 km, but twinged my niggly right hammie last weekend - off running for a week or two (I hope it's not more!).
Good running everyone.
Cheers,
Mick
