Pottered into the Nike Shop at Auburn yesterday to find they have the men's Nike 5.0 running shoes at $100, in the gun metal grey with white soles and red trim. Also, interestingly, they come with two insoles, the 5.0 and the 4.5. Quite a bit of stock, particularly in 8 and 9. Didn't check the women's, but it seemed they had quite a bit of stock of those as well.

Whenever I see Auburn I think Western States. Funny how the mindset changes.
The shoes sound like a sweet deal though.

I was in the main street of Auburn late this afternoon and some loser tried to mug me. Could've cost me more than $100 and I wasn't even shopping for shoes.

Oh yeah, he's dead now. Anyone who goes to Easy Tiger for massage knows what he does to people he likes, so based on that I can only assume that Tiger killed him. And it wouldn't have been one of your nice, clean, quick deaths either. Oh no. Not by a long shot.

Very tall guy asked me if i could spare any change...NO
Give me your money...NO
I then went into a bakery as i noticed he was following me, bought myself a muffin and tied up my laces. I then walked outside where i was again confronted by the guy this time showing me a pissy little knife...i did the bolt, and never saw him again. But as Vat alluded to, if we got into a wrestle i'd be launching into his levator scapula. It may have caused him extreme pain but it would've improved his posture. Also noticed that due to compensating for his extreme height his neck flexors looked remarkably tight, might've given them a quick release while i was there. (I'd put the stick your tongue out icon here but i don't know how to).

Lucky you didn't buy the frees tiger. You are meant to walk in them for the first couple of weeks.
Not so for me. I bought my second pair. One pair for running and one pair for.... Ummm recovery
They have loads of pairs in various sizes still there. Also a variety of colours.
