I'm wondering if anyone can help identify either a flaw in my walking/running technique or a flaw in my shoe fit by simply taking note of the creases on my shoes?

Obviously wear to certain areas on the sole says a lot, but I have on BOTH my GT2110s and GT2120s deep creases, about 3cm long, that run from the tip of the shoes where the big toe is back towards the mesh area (which is then too soft to crease I guess).

I find my Asics really comfortable (and run with orthotics), but as I've had a stress fracture, plantar fasciitis and ITB within 15 months, seeing unusual creases doesn't give me comfort that I'm in the right shoe! (also I was 95kg when I bought the GT2110s, now using GT2120, which crease more, I am 76kg).

Your thoughts please! Thanks.
