Nice start to Easter Sunday, just finished assisting Mr Bunny.
No, they are not the flavour of "coolrunners" I think.
Me, I am not brand proud my garage has many different brands of shoes.
I had previously used adidas in my competitive days and enjoyed them.
When the special custom shoes came out and I gave them ago, didn't quite work out.
This was sorted out and I am very happy with fit and feel. Just wish I trained more and smarter.
Have done more km's in them and they are great.

Unfortunately for me the improved shoe did not fit me in any size, half size or width variations. I went from being able to grab a pair of 9.5's off the shelf anywhere and having no worries to trying on all variations and reluctantly settling on my original fit. (Which didn't fit)
I found out how badly this affected me in Sydney Mara 2005 when I lost 3 toe nails due to my feet flopping around the front of my Supernovas.
After briefly flirting with Mizuno equivalents I switched to Asics 21xx Jan 06 and haven't looked back.
If it wasn't for sizing issues I would probably still be using them.

Love the other apparel though, my favourite, bright blue wind-chaser is an adidas creation.

The irony is that your handle Miss Gazelle was/is a pair of adidas as well as the animal.

in two years I have been through:
3 pairs of Supanova Cushions (not sure which models)
1 pair of adistar control1 (what a shoe! I still have them. Shame I don't really require a controlling shoe)
2 pairs of adistar cushion2 (very good! comfortable and grippy on all terrain, but the glued on parts started falling off)
3 pairs of adistar cushion3 (also very good, comfortable and grippy on all terrain, but the glued on parts started falling off)
3 pairs of adistar cushion4 (not so good, quite lacking grip and responsiveness. The heal cushioning collapsed quite quickly)
2 pairs of adistar cushion5 (also not so good, the same as the previous model)
I must add that I weigh up to 90kgs, and do high miliage and a lot of off road, so I cannot expect my shoes to last too long. The adistars do work for me in that they are long and narrow which suits my foot and very spongy which suits my weight.
I started experimenting in some light weight shoes for shorter distances and found the adistar competition and the adizero to be very comfortable with great responsiveness... but I don't expext them to last very long.
As for the apparel, found some great tops, tights and shorts (formotion is a great range and the formotion powerweb stuff can make sore legs and arms feel strong again). But they change their designs much too often, so if you go back to buy something that really worked you will often find that it has been superceded by something inferior.

They gave me no problems at all.
I found that they were a little higher in the heel than the Pegasus and Wave Creations that I was used to so my foot strike was a little different. It didn't bother me though - I still liked the shoe.
Back in Pegasus now as I have found several shoes that I trust and now just shop on price. If Adidas have a deal that's competitive I'll certainly go there again.

Unfortunately, my fav running store does not stock Adidas (not for the want of trying, apparently the rep can't be moved to turn up to strut his stuff) so I got the new Brooks Trance instead.
I'll keep an open mind though, Adidas were all the rage when I was a kid, after all!

please excuse the following gripe:
I am finding it hard to keep using adidas shoes. A week or two ago they released a new trailrunning shoe (adistar trail) and I ordered a pair of size 14 to try on. When it arrived I found it was a little large so I asked for a size 13 to compare but was told that there are none left.
Normally if I like a shoe I will get a few pairs and rotate them, but Adidas Australia have a policy of ordering such a small amount of each line that they run out almost upon release. It seems that I am always having to wait for a new release for a pair of shoes because they have sold out of current lines.
Might be time to have a look at asics and brooks

The adizero RC's are the best racing flats i've worn. Lightweight with good support and cushioning. Even though the half marathon is a low priority distance for me i'll be putting my trust in these babies.
Good work adidas!
