Just when I was beginning to understand why a 6 day race exists, along comes a 10 day race.

Well done to Garry, keep it up.

Go Garry  :)
Day 4 and he's still running third, he appears to have hit a pretty constant rhythm of 55 to 60 miles a day (ie just under 100K's), and personally i'd reckon he'll be able to keep that up, hopefully being able to put in a big day the last.
Awesome effort,
Kelvin

42 miles (67k) on day 5 for Gary and now in 8th position, although just 3 miles behind 6th. 315 miles (506k) after 5 days is pretty good. Hang in there.

After 6 day's Garry, cr's "oldyella" is still doing well. Up to 7th. 359 miles (577k) which is just 23k short of his Colac 6 day run a couple of years ago.

Garry's pictured here during day 3.

The daily mile results certainly show the field slowing down. 4 days to go.

The other Aussie Karina Ward is also in 7th after day 6 in the 10 day women race 245miles (394k).

Other Aussies after day 2 of the 6 day race have Peter Elliott on 121 miles and David Rogan 95 miles and Dipali Cunningham leads the way in the woman at 177 miles (284k).

After day 8 Garry's still going well, now up to 7th. 456 miles (733k). Looks like the 1000k mark won't be reached with 2 days to go. Great effort so far.

Day 8 men results.
