Hi all,

Was wondering through InSport at Birkenhead Point (Sydney) yesterday. They had current model Asics Gel Kayano XIIIs on sale - $260 down to $180, which was the same price as the Kayano XIIs. Apparently a new colour is coming out soon, hence the price drop.

I buy my asics Kayanos from the US for ~$82 per pair (XIIs), no way I'd pay almost $300 for a pair of runnning shoes made in China!

Thanks for the heads up Ksl. I don't suppose they had the DS trainers reduced as well?

And yes, who do you use Stewy?

They had the current (white and green stripe) DS trainers for $180, and the previous model (orange) for $120. I vacillated for a while between all these, but decided to stick with the Kayanos.

(BTW, that price is for Kayano XIIs, not XIIIs)

I'll buy you at least half a case of beer if you reveal your supplier ... just send me an email (which should be in my profile)... don't want the vultures at asics putting the hand brake on their US sellers so they can continue to rip us off... :p
