I've been searching the net based on trail shoe suggestions here in the other multiple threads but have only managed to find one wide trail shoe. That being the montrail hardrock wide.

I like to run in 4e kayano's as I have broad forefeet, I was hoping for suggestions here. Eg are the cascadias which I think are listed as D, really that wide, or are trail shoes in general a tad wider?

I really like the sounds of the salomon xa pro 3ds but certainly wouldn't want to fork out the money if they are too narrow.

My Merrell Overdrives are quite wide, but not sure if they'd be wide enough for your feet. I reckon your best bet is to go into a hiking shop, and try on light hike shoes - the ones that are like heavy, stiff trail running shoes. See which brand tends to have the best fit. In Brissy, I can get Cascadias and Overdrives at running and sports stores, but I picked up XP Pro 3Ds from K2 Base Camp. And I'm about to go run in them...
