Hi All,

I am very keen on the running and love it however have decided to try a triahlon late in the year. The bike bit is easy (comparitively) but..... well..... I'm not built like a brick but anyone who saw me swim would think i am. It's not that i can't swim - i could swim to shore to save my life but it would be slow and ugly. This is my problem, I must have some shocking technique (and swim fitness). Can anyone suggest a beginners squad or stroke correction class that they found helped them go from Eric the Eel to a Thorpedo.... or at least helped in beautiful brisbane.

Thanks

Steve

Fellow brick here. A few months ago 25m was a struggle, now up to 2km , still slow but not as ugly. Joined Brisbane Triathlon Squad. I think they are having a beginners group starting soon. Check the website. It's also good for bike skills. I thought as a half decent runner riding would be easy but I am still learning.
