Hey All,

Am a little excited about this.......a few months back i put in an application for apparel sponsorship with SkirtSports, because Im a bit of a fan of the running skirt    as you may already know!. I wasnt sure if i had much chance of being chosen as I figured they'd be looking for elite athletes so i chose to go down the 'you really could do with some australian exposure' route.

I just got an email this morning asking if Id be interested in being part of the SkirtSport Entourage Team, meaning doing promotional work - expos, booths at events etc etc

Im not too sure on details at this stage, i was just asked if interested, but it seems they may be wanting to be involved in events across the country. So i mentioned i had some skirt-wearing friends across the country that may also be keen to assist.

So am wondering, if anyone out there might be interested in helping if i get chosen?.......will mean free skirts!!!!

Hey this is my kind of thread! I'm still in love with my running skirts, and as you know Ploddy and I have already engaged in some serious modelling and promotion activities, with mixed success (Danny are you still out there?).

A skirt will show off that fake tan perfectly!

The skirts aren't short enough to show off Tim's tan.

Ive done expos before for one of my businesses and if theres something ive learned.....the way to attract females to your stand is to have a nice looking fella (in this case with nice looking legs) involved.

So Tim, Wombat, your services will be much appreciated!! thanks. And Bellthopre, I'll be working on you.

In the US they also get into events. They have a Skirt Chaser Race Series. I think it works by letting the girls go first and then the guys chase them down...sounds like fun. We might even be able to get some of those organised over here.

Hope they accept me, fingers crossed.

Hi Sook,

I saw this thread and thought *movie flash back montage here*  ITS HAPPENING AGAIN...... sorry I have myself together now.  Hey Psychochicken well done to you!!

Now I am always scared that over clarification can get you in more trouble than its worth BUT I do like the look of a healthy woman in a running skirt.  As Sook knows this somehow ended in ME being volunteered for the Central Coast Half skirt wearing team!  *thinks* maybe I should stop posting in all those guys who wax their legs topics that come up!

Give 'em hell Psychochicken!

Cheers,

Danny

Count me in !! way to go chicken - Received some feedback regarding my running skirt from a great looking guy with great legs after the marathon on Sunday. Unfortunately turned out to be a case of mistaken identity  ;)

I can think of one male CR triathlete who already wears a pink blouse. So I guess wearing a skirt wouldn't take much convincing.

I agree with Plod Bod about never racing in gear you haven't tried so its the tried and true shorts for the race but as for the after race photo... catch me if you can!

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I put it to you that on Nov 17 2007 at 10.19am Coolrunner Danny did wholeheartedly volunteer HIMSELF for a unique and never-to-be-repeated postrace skirt-wearing photograph opportunity, and that on several occasions thereafter, as we have amply demonstrated, he continued to affirm his intentions of doing so. I therefore put it to you that Coolrunner Danny is guilty, nay HEINOUSLY guilty, of the crime of Breach of Promise.

The next question that I beg you to consider, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is an appropriate punishment for said crime. Submissions will be accepted below.

Yours,

Judge Sooky Sook of the 143rd high court of the Sexy Skirt

Thanks Sook!!  I will be running in the C2S and will look forward to the great (female!) skirt wearing demonstration!  Of course if you want to venture up for the Hunter Valley running festival in July http://www.hevents.net/ or the Lake Macquarie Half Marathon http://www.lakehalf....e-mac-half.html these are great events that would do justice to the girls of CoolRunning.

Hey Psycho, I'm working on an idea for the great skirt-chase Australian style - we send Tim, Wombat and Danny ahead in their skirts and the women have to chase them and ... ??? Given their recent stellar performances at marathons we might have to slow them down a tad to prevent them disappearing over the horizon in a cloud of dust, so they will have to wear high heels (with matching gaiters, of course, thanks Tim for that idea!).

If you ladies were chasing us who says we'll even run?  If Tim was chasing me I'd set a new PB over any distance-and he'd still catch me.  Plodbod the pink ones mine and you'll have to rip it off me before I give it up!  Don't tell Mrs Wombat!

I just found this thread and I am not going back to read all the posts. But I have read some. "Running Skirts" Why I ask. looking at the pic you still have to ware bike shorts or something a like.  So why not just have the bike shorts or just normal running shorts.

I have run in a skirt but that is another story ?

the point of the running skirts is that the shorts are built-in, so there is no need to wear a separate pair underneath. although i think some of the guys may look even more fetching in these shorts from the same company:

So, Travy, want to share that skirt story with us?
