Hey Guys!
I got a bit of a strange question, ive been given a assignment for uni that has asked me to create a 12 month Training program for a 100meter Sprinter. :)

I must include:
-Strength and Conditioning
-Rehab
-Sprint Training
-Flexability
-Phases of Training (meso cycles)

I also need to include Bench Marks and goals for the athlete!

ANY INFORMATION WILL BE USEFUL SO PLEASE SHOWER ME WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

Cheers Steve :o

good luck with the Uni assignement, guess the assignement did not stated, - go and ask on the forum ?

But 12 months programm, can go something like this -

dedicate each month to 10 meteres of the distance, that would cover 100 metres in 10 months, and You still have 2 months
for tapering and choosing flashy outfits .

I've just deleted the identical topic in the 'speed training' forum because we have a policy of only one topic per um topic.

I thought it was a good way to get ones number of posts up! Just say the same thing in each place. Just say the same thing in each place.

Oh, and I have no idea about a training place for a 100m runner. Unless of course you look to me for personal inspiration. I can, afterall, run 100m in about 20 seconds! :) I can give you a few tips on how I've managed to achieve this if you like.

when price Philipp, gave assignement to Tony Blair to write Dosier to create resons for the war, Tony did not do a proper job at it, he just went on teh internet...

however to study to become a sport trainer is more serious business than playing the war games.

surely a man is aloud to ask for different suggesstions on what he already knows? i would give some but i have no idea on 100m sprint training. im sure 'rudolf' with the amount of verbal diarrhea you speak on this forum you'd have to know a few things. :)
