Think that was 9.72, not 10.72 mate.

About 3 yrs ago there was a guy posting on here raving about Bolt as the next big thing.

He was right. :(

edit: Was actually 4 yrs ago... a guy called "Palm Grove Pimp - TCI Sprinter" , from 'Turks and Caicos Islands"

Thread is here.

I wonder what he will run over his favored 200m distance, MJ's 19.32 WR must be in danger.

Hilarious...it's like he's still just floating on momentum and flies around the 400!!
The yank commentators make Bruce McAvaney seem cool, calm and reserved...i had to turn the sound off!!

Good to see a tall man running like that. I felt immediately after they were out of their blocks that he was being left behind and then he explodes and puts 2 metres on them in no time.

How about a Jamaican quinella at Beijing ?

I had forgotten that thread. I hope Pimp put some money on his predictions.
When Ben Johnson ran the drug assisted 9.79, I thought no-one would ever get into the low 70's

Garmin time was correct.... however the distances varied between runners by as much as 400m. They are now 'debating' this with the organisers ;)
