Just thought I would share my new find - Footprint Shoe Clinic has just opened in Mosman (lower north shore, Sydney) - they do the video analysis. No podiatrists working there, but I did find the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Yet to try out my new purchase, but I'm sure they'll be better than what I have been wearing. Finally a good running shop on the north shore! :)

(I have no interest in this shop - just sharing some info!)

Nice one. Being a Mosman girl this will work perfectly. One q - where is 562 Military Road? Is it near Bridgepoint or further towards Neutral Bay? I ask only so I can run there!

It is right on the junction... just near Fitness First.

...

Thank you for the info..

There is alerady a good shoe shop - Northsider Runners in Manly (Luke Hayes)
Very knowlegable and good price. Perhaps less over heads in rent compared to Mosman??
Doesn't treat customers like a car buyer , once you have your shoe, bye bye...Luke remembers your needs.

Ditto, i don't ahve any financial interest in either shop. I am just for value for money and knowledgeable and good service.

Ooh I'm just back home after visiting this store and personally I thought it was awesome. I had my walking and running style analysed and it was fascinating to watch my poor teeny ankles buckling while I ran. Who knew I was so freaking hopeless! Anyway, it was super interesting as I've not seen myself run on video before. I did buy some new shoes but then, that's what I intended to do all along, and they weren't cheap, but they were no more expensive than all of the others pair I own. Plus, I'm allowed to return them in a month if they turn out to be no good! Nice one.

Oh, one other thing... they do in fact have podiatrists working there. I talked with a pod plus a sports scientist and they both knew their stuff. And they put up with my toddler completely re-arranging their store. Got to hand it to someone who can tolerate that!
