Hi,
I want to start making the transition to running barefoot but im wondering, is it wishful thinking to think i could one day run road marathons with no shoes? I have no idea what the impact of 40+kms on a hard cement surface would have on my body.
Yesterday i did my first barefoot run, 10km on hard dirt/track/grass/gravel and felt fine before, during and after. I also feel fine today.
Im wondering though, is it safe to run barefoot on roads long distance?
