Hi all. Has anyone been to Complete Feet in Kew? They offer Tech Step footprint analysis and video gait analysis, a bit similar to Active Feet.

I've been to Active Feet before, but they seem to really push the Brooks barrow. When I went, the only brand they recommended was Brooks. When Aussiecat went it was the same thing. Her boss went there for runners to wear to the gym, and he came out with a pair of Brooks as well. I know Brooks make a good shoe, but I thought they would at least give you another brand, such a Asics, to try on.

I was wondering if anyone had been to Complete Feet, and if so, what their service was like. I'm thinking of going there on Monday, as I'm due for a new pair of runners.

Did you end up going in? I was thinking of going there but ended up going to Active Feet. Was very happy with their service. Tried on three different brands of shoes. New Balance, Brooks and a pair of Asics which I liked the most out of them. Now just to see how they go in the real world.

Now that's interesting... I had the same experience at Active Feet last year!

I've always worn/comfortable in asics Kayano, but they recommended a change to Brooks Trance, they then sold me the old superceded model (as they had none of the current model in stock) but still charged me the same as the current model. After only ~5km the Brooks had almost crippled me!
They suggested I try running in them again, but the pain was still virtually debilitating - they didn't seem too happy to take them back and swap them for a new pair of asics14s, despite their policy.

I don't know then. Maybe you got someone just having a bad day then. I went in there in my old Brooks Adrenaline. Which I had been happy with. The guy I saw brought out a pair of NB first but they didnt have enough support. Then a pair of Brooks which were slipping on my feet to much. Then I think it was actually 2 different types of Asics. Both the Brooks and the Ascics he sent me outdoors to run in to see how they felt in the "real world". Ended up with the Asics GEL-FOUNDATION 8 for the main reason that I have fairly wide feet and the others I tried on I seemed to hang over the sides of them.

Complete Feet were fantastic. And they don't stock Brooks, which was a relief. Tried on Kayanos and a pair of Saucony Tornados, I think they were. Both were very comfortable. I was in there for about 45 minutes. Must have gone on the treadmill 6 or 7 times. First I had a Tornado on my left foot and a Kayano on my right, then swapped around. Then just the Kayanos. He then suggested I try a pair half a size bigger. I usually wear size 11US. The 11&1/2 were perfect. There was no pressure at all to buy one over the other. I'm very happy with the Kayanos. I would recommend Complete Feet to anyone.

Cool, as I said I was completely happy with my service at Active Feet on the weekend. That said I might give Complete Feet a go next time I need shoes just to compare service and see if they recommend a similar shoe to Active Feet.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents and say that I've only been to complete feet once but was very happy with the service and have had no problems with my asics. Hope you will be as happy as i was.
