My brother had a bad accident 7 years ago, due to this one leg now slightly shorter than the other. He has and orthodic in one shoe now. He sawe a specialist she gave him a list of running shoes, after trying some out at Active Feet (friendly, helpful staff) decieded on the New Balance 1026 and Nike Vomero 3. Can some tell me where I might be able to purchase them O.S. One mob in the Uk can deliver them for $170AU. Would one know of some where cheaper. Thanks
Nike Vomero 3Need to get some for my brother

Use the search function on this site or the internet.
You will then read (within CollRunning) that CoolRunning and CoolRunners have had masive problems relating to this subject.
Best advice for new CoolRunners is Ebay.

Not a high selling item despite the quality and accolades it has. How do you know the size he needs...they vary between brands/models. Are you going to fit at local shop and buy O/S? If so, that is probably one reason for mark up.

I don't mind going to a big chain store (say one that starts with R), double-checking my size and then buying online. It's not like they actually go to any effort to serve you. But I think it's pretty ordinary to make the Active Feet guys get you on the treadmill, show you video of your footstrike, analyse your gait, make suggestions... and then piss off to your PC to order them online.
If I get service that genuinely helps me, then I'm prepared to take a hit on the purchase price in order to PAY FOR that service. It's only fair.

We also checked out 3 or four other shops. You dont just go into one shop try on shoes and buy them then and there, surely you shop around. Anyway thanks for your input. bought the shoe at Active Feet.
