The coach of sprinter Bolt is letting Bolt to focus on 100/200 for 2009 and specificaly for worlds in Berlin. However for 2010 (no major champs), the coach has an idea :

to get Bolt to prepare and run 400m to get a WR and be a first man to hold simultaneously 3 WR:

100-200-400.

seems the hardest part is persuade Bolt into this.

--------------------------------
the article should be in mag : Journal of Experimental Biology.

science is at it again, new calculations for future WR :

Proffesor of biology (Stanford uni) Mark Denny:

100m M = 9,48
100m F = 10,39 ( taken from 10.61, disregarding flo-jo 10.49 )

200m M = 18,63

Marathon M = 2:00:47
Marathon F = 2:14:07 (currently 2:15:25 Radcliff).
