Just wondering if anybody knew what had happened to Adam Miller?
Is he back in training after the injury early in 2008?
He has some real talent (PB at 10.17s) and it would be great to see him back to his best with some of the juniors coming through (e.g Rouge-Serret, Williams, Gallic, Gowa etc).
I also remember thinking that he had the opportunity to be a very good 200m runner (sub 20.50s).
Any news greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Found my answer - The Australian (Nov 08)
Miller, 24, is happily retired but holds out hope Australian sprinting is not a lost cause.
"You can't shut the door and say we are only going to do relays. Hopefully some unknowns will come through like Patrick and Matt Shirvington did.
"They arrived out of nowhere through the school system and we need more people to jump out of the woodwork."
But he adds a sobering note.
"My best time was 10.17sec and that was good for Australia but it was nothing on the international stage," Miller says. "Still to this day not one Caucasian male has ever broken 10 seconds and that says a lot about genetics and the make-up of human beings."
Happily retired at 24, and suggesting that he really had no chance of running much faster and matching with athletes from overseas!!
What a sad day in Australian athletics when we lose an athlete with such natural born talent. It looks as though Batman has also retired, leaving no sprinters holding an AIS scholarship (Patrick Johnson not being funded in 2009).
I just hope that the younger athletes are not put off by what Miller has said about his 10.17s 100m PB!!
What is happening to sprinters at the moment!!
Cheers
Chris
