Hi All,
As part of my preperation for the Canberra Marathon in April, I am supposed to be running a 1/2 Mara in the middle of Feb - problem is I can not seem to find any to do....
Does anyone know of any races in Melbourne at that time?

I'm not aware of any-unless you can do the run leg of the Geelong 1/2 ironman on Feb 7. If you feel like going interstate for a weekend, SMC (Sydney Marathon Clinic) have a 25km run on the 22nd. Other than that I have no idea. Sorry!

This one isn't in Feb but it is 4 weeks out from Canberra which is a good time to judge how your training is going. I did this one in 2005 when it was 3 weeks before Canberra that year. Mostly a flat course on country roads. Male course record is 64:10 by Magnus Michelsson.
I think I was given a loaf of bread and a drink bottle as my gift of entering the half.
The cake stall after the race is excellent.
