I know there is a large contingent of CRs who espouse the merits of running in alternatives to conventional running shoes (5 Fingers, etc).

Some of you may be interested in checking out the moccasins made by Jann French.

The prices are British pounds, as Jann has spent the last 8 months or so in the UK, but she will be back in Sydney next week and presumably will be amending the prices accordingly.

Disclaimer: Jann is a friend, who I owe big time because we have had the convenience of baby-sitting her car while she has been overseas, however she is a cool and delightfully quirky chick and I'd be posting this anyway in the interest of the broader CR community.

I've been just a little bit obsessed about these since I first went to the link. They're beautiful! I don't think I would run in them though, i wouldn't want to stink them up! I'd probably consider them for hiking though. And I want the boots just to live in!!!

Maybe I need to find a reason to visit Sydney when she's back in Australia...
