Yup you guessed my first official open water swim race assuming i get my entry in before they cut off. amazing 3 months ago i could barely swim half a km today i swam 2.6. A bit like learnign to run slowly it happens then you hit a point and there's no looking back.
But before the big swim i have a little side thing goind. It started soemthing like dizzey and Peekie decide to do soem swimming and got out in the open water. Next thing these two think they are some kind of stephanie Rices. wannabes really but you know how stuff goes to epoples heads. So they challenge me to a race. Its been planned for a while now but with chrissy etc been hard to pin them down. I think their scared and so they should be.
They are racign me next sunday at Frankston pier. If you want to see the likes of the wannabes crushed chewed up and spat out to the stinger that lives at the bottom of the bay near the pier then come down. There will be no holding back if one of them doesnt throw up a lung trying to catch me then i will be disapponted.
dizzey will be tough she's a resonabe swimmer but she doesnt have killer insticts. Peekie has drive and can get pretty determined but she lacks technique and style.
Me well i live in frankston so needless to say i have the killer instinct along with plenty of fineese.
so ladies suggest you get your affairs in order before sunday and prepared to have a serious Frankston beating of the swimming kind
