I received a pair of VFF Sprints for Xmas, and have run about 50km total in them. Recently while running it felt like a stone had got into them and was digging into the side of my foot, when I stopped to check I noticed the rubber sloe where it meets the fabric on my left foot was twisting in and biting into just below my big toe.

Has anyone had anything similar and can it be corrected? I have emailed them via their website but no response yet. My wife bought them via the net as we live in Broome. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am loving the experience of running in them.

I would be wondering if they are perhaps a little big? this could possibly be the case even if the toes are a nice fit. It sounds like they are just a little too long? (completely punter-opinion btw--I have the sprints and am trying to think if that happened why it might be, haven't had that problem myself though).

Not quite the same problem for me -but FYI I got a blister just above the big toe due to the elastic making the fabric rub. I cut out the elastic and they are fine without even sprinting over rough ground.
