I'm looking for recommendations for stroke correction classes and swim squads in Sydney (I'm inner west but happy to travel a bit if necessary).

Realistically I need a bit of a buffer before I join a squad, so I'm looking for some stroke correction where I can improve my fitness and technique before moving on. Ideally I'd like to go at least 3 times a week doing stroke correction and then a bit more when I start an actual squad.

I've been googling but haven't really found much in the way of other peoples experiences, so does anybody have any recommendations for both stroke correction and squads? Any places to avoid?

Cheers.

Hi Enna,

You could try triaction@optusnet.com.au which is Matt Thomas from the Hill's Tri Club.  He trains us at Homebush Aquatic Centre on Mon/Wed evenings.  He caters for all levels & abilities.

Hope this helps you.

Cheers,
AK

Thanks AK. I should've said originally that I'm looking for more of a general swim squad (as opposed to a tri swim squad), but I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Spot- out of Ian Thorpe aquatic Centre.. but be prepared to be shouted at!!
Vlad- out of Cook and Phillip who is widely regarded as one of the best.
