Im very excited- i did the run and swim at Mooloolaba this morning- first time ever swam in 26:09 run in 47:59 -took up swimming due to running injury and liked it. Ankle was still sore- this injury is persistent- but Im thrilled and run was better than i expected as i havent been running much- or fast but I has just hoping to be inder 50 so feeling pretty good!

Good job twosheds. You'll have the bike mastered in no time.

Nice work!
Were you running in an In Training singlet?
Noticed one lady going very well as I struggled along.

great work - I also did two legs of the Moobah triathlon (swim and ride).
I took up triathlon due to constant running injuries! Can't say I've ever taken wholeheartedly to the swimming side of things though.

Thanks guys! yes I was in an intraining shirt- hope it was me looking strong-
Regarding the bike- i am so bad- I am providing hours of amusement for my family trying to use cleats. have managed 2 falls without actually getting the bike moving. Think I may have bruised or even vbroken a small bone in my hand- thats without even getting going. Its quite a challenge- getting the cleats in and not falling over. So I think emma Snowsill might be safe foe a while yet!

Hey Sundset- i might have to follow in your footsteps- my achilles are very sore- i think 10km is the limit for now so maybe it has to be triathlon for a while.

Take care

You were looking strong when I saw you. I would have called out but I was trying not to draw attention to myself as I slunk back to the finish
